Why do the MathsPOWER programs cost so much less, when they are obviously of a vastly superior quality and standard to any other software or tutoring program?

This is a common question that so many ask. There are a few reasons:

1. We don’t send salespeople to your house - so we don’t have to pay those sales commissions.
2. We don’t spend much on advertising - a little here and there - but over 80% of our business is from word-of-mouth and repeat orders by our happy customers.
3. Our tutoring programs are created here, by us - Aussie teachers who are passionate about education. We don’t buy the program from someone overseas. The Back to the Future Education(Australia) Pty. Ltd. team of education and software experts is headed by husband and wife teacher/software developers, Anthony and Felicity Tannous, parents of three children. We just really believe that access to our fantastic quality tutoring program should be available to ALL kids, so we price it accordingly.

1. New families pay the one-off Registration fee.


2. Each 1-year primary module also provides the student with some revision from the previous year, extension into the following year and also includes unlimited access to a phone tutor (email tutor outside Australia). It also provides unlimited access for the parent to a free educational advice.


3. Each two-year high school module provides the student with access to up to 200 lessons and includes unlimited access to the phone tutor (email tutor outside Australia). It also provides unlimited access for the student and parent to the free educational advice.


4. If students are achieving less than 80% for their current work it’s because they have not fully understood or forgotten their work from previous years. The Maths POWER program works because it enables children to revise this work thoroughly.


5. When children have a sound grasp of the work from previous years then they are able to succeed with her current work.


6. The CD ROMs completely cover the Australian Schools Syllabi from Kindergarten to Year 12 and also comply with Syllabi from around the world.


7. The students hear their teacher explain the lesson. At the same time, the graphics and highlighted emphasis appear clearly on the screen.


8. Lessons are concise and the students can repeat the lesson as many times as they need to in order to gain full understanding.


9. The students then print out and complete a worksheet corresponding to the lesson.


10. Students do not proceed to the next lesson until they achieve 90%. This high pass mark ensures the lesson has been fully understood. The computer will record the results and show how many attempts the student has made.


11. If students are unable to achieve the pass mark then they have phone or email access to a qualified maths tutor from Monday to Thursday, between 4pm and 7pm.


12. To ensure success it is essential that students use the program at least 3 times a week and that each session lasts between 25 and 30 mins.
